Solution
How to use the ball sort solver
- Match the setup. Set the number of colors, balls per tube (4 in most apps), and empty tubes to match your level.
- Copy your tubes. Pick a color, then click a tube to drop balls in from the bottom up — mirror your level exactly. The little counters show how many balls of each color are left to place.
- Hit Solve. The ball sort solver searches every line of play and returns a short solution — typically in well under a second.
- Follow the steps. Read the numbered moves (tubes are numbered left to right), or press Play and watch the solution animate ball by ball.
Tip: the Share button copies a link that contains your exact puzzle — send it to a friend and they'll see the same tubes and the same solution.

Ball sort solver FAQ
Does this ball sort puzzle solver work for mobile app levels?
Yes. It solves any standard ball sort puzzle — levels from Ball Sort mobile apps, browser games, or our own game. Copy the tubes exactly as shown in your level, hit Solve, and follow the moves.
Is the solver free?
Completely free, no sign-up, no limits. It runs in your browser, so your puzzle never leaves your device.
Does it find the shortest solution?
It finds a short solution — usually optimal or within a few moves of optimal — in well under a second for typical levels. It prioritises answering instantly over squeezing out the last move.
Why does it say my puzzle is unsolvable?
The solver exhausts every reachable position before giving up, so an "unsolvable" verdict almost always means one ball was entered wrong. Re-check each tube bottom-to-top — one swapped color is the usual culprit.
My level has 5 balls per tube — can it handle that?
Yes. Switch "Balls per tube" to 5. You can also set 1–3 empty tubes to match your level exactly.
